Meredith was delighted to be singled out for special attention by a mime working along the Thames. She was fascinated to discover that you can communicate without words, and she really enjoyed being the only girl to get a balloon. There is an international mime festival in London at the end of January. Based on how well today's miming was received, we may well attend.

Dear Laura and Scott,
OK, so I´m a little late. It´s 2010 and I am just now catching up with you all. So great to read of your journey. I´m reading from beginning to end and it is very entertaining. I´m somewhere in mid January, I think. So far, it is so interesting and parts of it are cracking me up (Laundry, editor´s translation, etc.) Basically, you guys are great writers, but given your Mizzou history, that is not a surprise to anyone.
OK, the reason I am commenting on this day is because I want you to please tell Meredith that she is my favorite. I have not had the privilege of meeting any of your children yet, but reading about them and seeing their pictures, I already have a soft spot in my heart for the middle child. Especially love the post about the mime.
